  • Consultation Launched on Proposed Merger Between Learn Academies Trust and Inspiring Primaries Academy Trust

A formal consultation has now opened for stakeholders on proposals to merge Learn Academies Trust (‘LAT’) and Inspiring Primaries Academy Trust (‘IPAT’), marking a significant step towards the potential formation of a larger multi-academy trust.

The proposed merger aims to bring the two trusts together to create a stronger, more resilient organisation, better placed to support schools, staff and pupils both now and in the future. Leaders from both trusts believe the move could enhance collaboration, share expertise more effectively, and strengthen long-term sustainability across all academies involved.

Stakeholders, including parents, staff and the wider school community, are being invited to share their views as part of the consultation process. Their feedback will play a key role in informing decision-making, ensuring that any concerns or questions are carefully considered before any final decisions are made.

Further details about the proposal, along with information on how to participate in the consultation, have been shared directly with stakeholders in the letter below. The consultation period provides an important opportunity for the community to engage with the plans and help shape the future direction of the trust.
